morning...

This morning...

The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours.  No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen.  And the fact that it practically always doesn't, matters not a jot.  The possibility is always there.

Wednesday's sky...

 is full of woe...

The offing was barred by a black bank of clouds, and the tranquil water-way leading to the uttermost ends of the earth flowed somber under an overcast sky....

This morning...

I can see the orange haze on the horizon as the morning exhales a yawn, and seems to be ready to rise...

Grey Day...

I had a rather damp and gloomy walk this morning and by the time I got home I was soggy and bedraggled... It was still good to get out though, and I actually quite liked the feeling of the rain on my face...
I think the photos manage to capture the mood quite well!

I'm busy sorting through my photos - I quite like this - especially the reflection of the railings in the puddle...
