I like how there's an orange glow in the sky as the sun was going down which links in nicely with the orange glow shining through the church windows...

This morning - I like the way it looks old and blurry.
There was a bird flying in the middle left hand side - I like how it isn't obvious what it is.
I'm tying to take different kinds of photos in this project, so that it won't just be a collection of different photos of the same view - although there's nothing wrong with that!

Hello! Happy New Year!

Well, a new year has begun, and I'm starting another project - time will tell how long I manage to stick to it! Another photo challenge - this time I've decided to take a photo each day this year and upload it to my blog. I'll maybe add it to flickr as well, but I don't want to be having to post it to too many different places, or that will make it too complicated, and it will be straying too far from the simplicity of the project that is so appealing- one photo, once a day, for one year...

There is something really special about mornings. I love that peaceful feeling when I first wake up, and then I sit for a while with my cup of coffee, gradually waking up and watching the world outside start to unfold and wake up too...
